Synopsis:

Pa had two sons by different wives, an immense corporation, limitless influence and bottomless ambition. Nick, the youngest son, made his own way in oil because the oil business produced the kind of wealth his father respected – and because it kept him fifteen thousand miles between them. Tim, the eldest, was Pa’s achievement. Tim was President and a hero to the nation – until cut down by a communist bullet in a motorcade in Philadelphia in 1960. Fourteen years later, Nick is lifted off a rig in the South China Sea to be told that his brother was the victim of a conspiracy. And hears himself promising to find out the truth and see that justice is done.

The Bookworms Mission:

We strive to reduce unnecessary landfill by taking used books, second-hand books, paperback books, hardback books, pre-loved books, great reads and recycled books and then redistributing them throughout New Zealand, Australia and the rest of the world. Readers can connect online with book titles, helping them find new homes, and support reusing and re-loving books that are affordable. At Bookworms you’ll find cheap books, hidden gems and even some lost treasures. We have a passion for sustainability, being eco-friendly, eco-conscious and we aim to incorporate that into all that we do.
