Architects today

Kester Rattenbury, Rob Bevan, Kieran Long

Have you ever wanted to have information about the world's most influential practising architects at your fingertips? Written by three architectural journalists, this book cuts the world's greatest and most provocative practising architects down to size - both the old and established and the rising stars. With two, fully illustrated pages for each architect, a clear, lively design and an alphabetical organization, it breaks down the usual arcane architectural categorizations. It offers both an insight and introduction to the key contemporary architects as well as giving a snapshot of the varied nature of architecture today. For each architect the book gives the key details of their life and work and illustrations of the most representative and iconic buildings, as well as assessing their place in the international scene. This volume will appeal to anyone interested in contemporary architecture, both as an introduction and as a handy reference source.
